Meet Our Furr-iend Hudson the Papillion + His Furr-amily
This is Hudson the Papillion… he’s 18 years young and has beautiful butterfly ears.

This is my fur-iend Hudson the Papillion. He’s almost a paw-some 18 years young! Can you believe those ears? Momma goes on and on about Cavie ears and how long they are but she’s in awe of Hudson’s beautiful butterfly ears!
One day, I was checking the Insta-bark, I mean my instagram, and a message from Hudson’s hoo-man popped up on the screen. I pawed the screen until my momma took a look…because, you know… I love sniffing out new furrr-iends. Hudson’s hoo-man messaged my momma about designing a special snood for him since he doesn’t have any teeth. She said he needed furr-tection from the soft foods he loves.
Side-furrns need protection too.
Hudson’s hoo-man sent helpful photos showing the problem areas ( side furr-ns, chest + legs). Momma and I studied the photos. And I thought…
Well, Hudson can’t be without a fun dinner outfit… after all, he needs to fit in with his Cavalier King Charles Spaniel siblings Cricket + Teddy.
I think Hudson is paw-retty darn special because his momma loves him so much and wants only the dinner-time best for him. She requested something that would protect his chest, legs and side furr-ns from his soft-food diet.
We present… the Bib Collection { Hudson’s Line of Bibs } sized perfectly to Hudson’s shape, needs and measurements.
We made several options for Hudson, and each has its specific purpose.

Reversible Flat Bib slips on Hudson’s collar
The Flat Bib is great for when Hudson wants to stand to eat. It keeps food off his chest. And it’s reversible to absorbent terrycloth… and washable. The Flat Bib slips right on his collar and stays in place.
The big bonus… Hudson can spread his super powers of cuteness because, “It makes a great super hero cape!”
Reversible Pleated Bib slips on Hudson’s collar
The Pleated Bib spreads wider at the bottom and is great for when Hudson eats while seated or standing. It spreads across his chest and curves around his front legs. The Pleated Bib slips on a collar just like the Flat bib and has a terrycloth reversible backside. Super absorbent and washable. We added Hudson’s name to his so he feels extra special!
His hoo-man says, “One of my favorite things about them (the bibs) is the curved hem and length which prevents Hudson from tripping. I can leave it (the bib) on him for a while, especially when we try to feed him and then he won’t eat. I don’t have to worry about it being a hazard!”
The third style bib we designed is part snood, part bib. Hudson has beautiful trademark Papillon ears with beautiful tufts of hair that arc out from them and the sides of his face. To keep these clean, we made an adjustable short snood to go behind his pointed ears and down his neck with the bonus bib attached to keep legs and chest food free. Soft, terrycloth on the backside.
Hudson’s Momma says, “It (the Snood Bib) tucks everything right in… and when I spoon feed him, it catches where I need it too.”
We’re so glad Hudson can eat on the move, or do a dinner-drive-by in style and safety.
Since writing this post, Hudson has gained his angel wings.
We think of him every time we make a new bib and his beautiful Papillion Butterfly ears.
